We Opened a Window.
Then We Asked Why.
Every time we cleaned our bathroom, we had to open every window in the house. The fumes from the cleaner were so strong, our eyes would water. We'd spray it on, hold our breath, and rush out of the room โ hoping the stains would somehow disappear on their own.
They didn't. The taps were still stained. The tiles still had white marks. And now the whole bathroom smelled like a chemical factory.
We looked at what we were using โ the label listed ingredients we couldn't pronounce. We had small kids in the house. We had elderly parents visiting. This didn't feel right.
We tried every "natural" alternative we could find. Vinegar. Baking soda. Lemon. They helped a little โ but nowhere near enough for India's notoriously hard water. The limescale came back within days.
So we stopped looking for the answer on a shelf. We built it ourselves.
